Recipe → draft panel · USDA FoodData Central
A Nutrition Facts draft from the recipe you already have.
Send ingredient lines in grams. Hearthlabel scales official USDA per-100g values into a dated draft panel with FoodData Central source links on every matched line.
Not a laboratory analysis. Not FDA approval. Not permission to print this panel on a package. You still choose serving size and check 21 CFR 101.9.
Who it is for
Cottage-food and small-batch makers who already have a recipe and want a dated Nutrition Facts draft before they pay a lab or a label printer. Farmers-market bakers and home-canners who sell food, not people baking only for family.
Who it is not for
Anyone who needs a lab analysis, FDA approval, or a print-ready 21 CFR 101.9 panel they can put on a package without checking. Anyone asking us to log into an account or send customer lists.
What you send
A CSV with product_name, servings (count, not serving size), ingredient, and grams. Cups and ounces are not converted. fdc_id is optional; leave it blank and we match the ingredient name against USDA FoodData Central.
What you get
A dated HTML draft: calories and nutrients per serving count, plus a source table with official FDC URLs. Unmatched ingredients stay unmatched. Serving size, added sugars, % Daily Value, and the ingredient/allergen statement are not computed.
How it works
- Download the recipe CSV template and list each ingredient in grams. The filled sugar-cookie rows are the same recipe as the sample draft.
- Send the file when checkout is open. Do not send customer lists or logins.
- You get a dated draft panel with USDA FoodData Central links.
Checkout is not live. There is no price on this page because checkout is not open. Do not send money to another product.
